Method 1: Add Title Tag and Meta Description
These are the titles and descriptions that show up in the SERP (search engine result page). Load these with keywords that encourage browsers to visit your website. If these aren’t on your page, Google will automatically fetch a title and description from your website, but this will look unprofessional and could cause you to lose visitors. If you are trying to get local results, you can include some of your service areas here.
Title and Meta Descption allows you to be in control of how your page displays on search pages
Method 2: Add Alt Text to All Images and URLs
This makes your page accessible to screen readers and other similar tools. It also allows pictures on your page to show up in search results. This strengthens the chances of your website being found in an organic search. While most people won't see whether or not your images and URLs have alt text, it will nevgatively effect your google search ranking if they are missing, as google takes this into account when deciding which pages to show first on search results.
Sites that skip adding Alt text will be ranking lower on Google
Method 3: Compress Images and Videos
You may think that the larger the image size, the higher the quality. While that’s true, it can really slow down the loading speed of your website, which is a death sentence on the web. Slow loading times have a negative effect on your google ranking and will cause visitors to get frustrated and leave your page. I recommend running ALL images through a compressor tool such as imagecompressor.com!
You can also convert the file to a WebP file, which can greatly reduce file size!
Method 4: Create Relevant Content
Think about what people will be searching for and asking about your niche. Then make content (pictures, blogs, and the copy on your homepage) that answers their questions. If your content isn’t relevant to your audience, they won’t visit!
Create content focused on the words and subjects your customers will be most curious about
